Why to choose suitable tyres for prevailing weather conditions
Your car is made of many components. Major components out those many are the body, engine and tyres. A great combination of these basic necessary elements makes your dream machine work well. Climatic conditions of any region affect the performance of every machine including the car. There are various different accessories fitted for continual performance throughout the year in many cars. But the region where the weather is harsh and temperatures vary vastly, it becomes very important to add suitable components for reducing the stress on machine and make it perform better. Considering this there are three types of tyres. There are all weather tyres, summer tyre and winter tyre (In finnish talvirengas).
All these different types have their own specialties which suit to the weather. Winter tyres different thread weave pattern, which is suitable when the climate is colder. These tyres remain softer at extremely low temperatures due to their special rubber compounds. Their thread pattern is suitable for lot of water shifting. This helps the car maintaining the balance and reduces the risk of skidding on slippery surface when it snows. But these tyres are not suitable in summer season when the temperatures are high and friction of tyre with road increases the temperature of the tyre itself to higher grades. It is recommended to change these tyres during summers for avoiding any undue incidents. These tyres can be seen only at the regions where temperatures have higher variation. Characteristics of summer tyres (In finnish kesärenkaat) are different from those of winter ones. These tyres are also called as high performance tyres. These tyres have softer rubber than winter and all weather tyres. They can also be used on rainy roads due t their special viscosity and thread pattern as well as design allows these tyres to have better grip and allows water to go up and away from the car which saves from rusting and oxidizing. But due to the softness of the rubber this type wears out faster than any other type.
Considering these elements, it is always recommended to select and change the tyre six months for better car performance and reduced stress on machine. This requirement is very much obligatory in the regions which face extreme climatic changes. Regular tyre dealers offer packages to fit the suitable tyres to your car at the onset of that particular season. But to avoid this effort, people opt for all weather tyres, which suit to almost all of the climatic conditions, but experts advice to change the tyres for better performance.
